3 CATEGORIES: … “Parade ready” … “Still hard at it!” … “Yard art”

Photos can be taken with the device of your choice. All photos should be taken at a high resolution, preferably in JPEG format, and, if using a cell phone, in “landscape” orientation. Photos should be composed with an “artistic” eye;

• either a complimentary, or little to no background
• out of direct sunlight
• no glaring light or shadows imposing on the subject
• explore closeup, distance, and curious angle shots
• make the picture tell a story
• photos without people are encouraged but, particularly good shots with people/pets will be considered

IMPORTANT

All photos are to be submitted via email, as an attachment, to the Editor of your Club’s Newsletter;

She will include all new submissions in her next issue.

Therefore, along with your name, please include any factual or funny information you have about your photo and tell us about your experience finding/taking the photo.

Readers may be inspired to join in on the fun!

In November your Club Directors will evaluate all submissions based on photographic merit (not on the colour of the tractor!!) and select a winner in each of the three categories.

Each winner will receive bragging rights for one year as well as a free 2027 Club membership.

It is planned that each winner’s photo, along with several Honourable Mentions, will be the part of a 2027 calendar that will be on sale at the Club’s 2026 Christmas party.
