A LOOK BACK AT TOBACCO FARMING IN HOPE TOWNSHIP
This presentation is back by popular demand.
Our member of the Board of Directors, Jack Malfait, is the son of a tobacco farmer who grew up just up the road from our Antique Machinery Centre.
YES Tobacco farming was a very big part of this country, not to many years ago. Come and learn about how tobacco was grown and made into cigarettes. Many seniors in our community worked “Tobacco” as teenagers.
As always, the public is welcome to share an evening with Antique Agricultural Enthusiasts.
